Dear 2020 Unsung Honoree:

Congratulations again for being selected to receive the 2020 Unsung Heroines Award. Your service and positive impact in the community exemplify the qualities that our Chapter seeks to recognize in our Honorees. The Annual Unsung Gala will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 7:00pm at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway Hotel 2020 Convention Center Concourse. We plan to celebrate the event in formal attire. The celebration in your honor, encourages Honorees to invite friends and families to purchase tickets. All proceeds will benefit our Sisters Helping Sisters program designed to assist female domestic violence survivors and potential victims become economically self-sufficient. The program emphasizes serving the whole woman along with providing realistic self-sufficient tools to support employment and life skills for long-term success.

In the upcoming months, we will contact you with updates about the Gala plans and logistics which will include the coordination of your videotape. We understand the challenges related to COVID-19 and the possible unforeseen impact affecting our community. We will continue to adhere to all CDC and government guidelines. We appreciate your understanding, responsiveness and flexibility.
